Spitting out CD drive

Having updated my SUSE 9.1 system using YOU yesterday, my PC keeps spitting
out the drawer of the CD recorder every couple of minutes. It's not done this
before - does anyone know what might be causing this, because it's rather
irritating!
It started after the update (I rebooted straight after the update because
there was a kernel update) and carries on today after another reboot
(overnight).
