I have just moved into a situation that requires a wireless network. This is
new to me. I have SuSE 9.1 on 2.8Mhz machine. My wife has an iBook with OS-X
10.3. The entry point for the cable modem is about 30 feet from the computer
location and we can't run physical cable. It's a masonry walled apartment and
we are just renting for now. Can anyone recommend a router/hub and wireless
devices (USB would be the easiest) that we could use for both systems?
Also, my mouse is dieing (one of the old ball type) and I'm looking at a
wireless keyboard/mouse combination to try and reduce cable volume around my
machines. Most of the devices I see (I'm located in Spain) appear to be
Windows specific. Can any one recommend a wireless keyboard/mouse combination
that works well with SuSE 9.x?
TIA for your great advice on both topics.
