It happened often enough that many of us just reinstalled on one of the other systems jfs xfs etc. I didn't use it on any of my 9.2 installs so far but wondered if this problem had been fixed or if we are just going to have to wit til reiser4 is released to begin again. ( Specs I've read look pretty spiffy, but no long term performance data is yet available... probably for obvious reasons, there hasn't been a long enough time to have passed since it's release to have any meaningful checks.. ) Just in case you think we have stopped drooling over all new tech w/ the release of 9.2 it's gorgeous but there is always something else glittering just out of reach. <evil grin> -- j -- nemo me impune lacessit
