Hi again,
I'm trying to build the qemu-0.6.0-3 binary package from the SuSE 9.2 qemu-0.6.0-3.src.rpm source package into SuSE 9.1. After solving most of the dependencies, i get here:
TWPT035001:/usr/src/packages/SPECS # rpmbuild -bb qemu.spec error: Failed build dependencies: libnscd is needed by qemu-0.6.0-3 libzio is needed by qemu-0.6.0-3
so i downloaded the source packages libnscd-1.0-2.src.rpm and libzio-0.1-4.src.rpm, and tried to build the binary packages. Here is my problem, i cannot build them because they are crossreferenced:
TWPT035001:/usr/src/packages/SPECS # rpmbuild -bb libnscd.spec error: Failed build dependencies: libnscd is needed by libnscd-1.0-2 libzio is needed by libnscd-1.0-2 TWPT035001:/usr/src/packages/SPECS # rpmbuild -bb libzio.spec error: Failed build dependencies: libnscd is needed by libzio-0.1-4 libzio is needed by libzio-0.1-4
Thanks,
Agustí
PD: I'm going to try modifing the spec fles...
I have never build rpms, but as rpm can accept more than one package to install (used with cross-referenced packages), and as i see in man rpmbuild: rpmbuild {--rebuild|--recompile} SOURCEPKG ... I guess that "..." means more packages. So, you may try to build them together in one command line, like: rpmbuild -bb libnscd.spec libzio.spec Cheers Sunny -- Get Firefox http://www.spreadfirefox.com/?q=affiliates&id=10745&t=85
