To an extent, they .do. require a little social engineering on MS platforms,
too... But that comes as a natural by-product of the "install wizard"
mentality. So many Windows users are used to clicking "Next" and "OK" on
every window that pops up, that a lot of that stuff gets loaded anyway
(which is why I don't think SP2 will help out XP a whole lot...)
