Several times in the past I have got fed up with evolution because sometimes, for no apparent reason, the cursor would jump to a different part of the text I was typing and randomly delete some portions of text. Recently, that's not been happening, which was great as it really is otherwise my preferred email client. This evening it started doing it again. Then it dawned on me - I decided to have a go at playing with Project Looking Glass - Sun's new 3D desktop - and, as part of the procedure, I installed the nvidia driver, which I have not been using recently. It occurred to me that previously, this happened when I had been using the nvidia driver also, so could that somehow be the cause? Has anyone else experienced this or know of a fix?
