Konqueror gives me the pip. It tries to be too intelligent for it's own good. And too much artificial intelligence is artificial malevolence. So I use firebird for most of my browsing, and set it as the default app for HTML. But, sometimes I need a second browser, because firebird isn't coping or is already loaded with a cookie and I want to try something different. Konqueror is no good, it acts like a sulky child. Click on a link and it says, "I'm not your HTML app, do you want me to open this with Firebird or save it?" No button to say, "Just do it, you stupid heap of pedantic logic, you're a browser, it's HTML, display it!" Anyone know a way around this? Or should I write Konqueror off entirely? michaelj -- Michael James michael.james@csiro.au System Administrator voice: 02 6246 5040 CSIRO Bioinformatics Facility fax: 02 6246 5166
