Hi Henry, A mounted filesystem will not be unmountable as long as there are processes holding open files in it. You can check to see which processes have open files by using the "lsof" utility. You may want to use a construct like "lsof | grep /mnt/mountpoint" .. replace /mnt/mountpoint with the mountpoint you are interested in. You will see the process, owner, and pid. i check whos using it using fuser and nothing found. I guess a reboot should do the trick but is there another way? Also the -f doesn't work either.
