So far anyway.
I mentioned in a previous post that I had installed it on a 9.0 box, along with KOffice.
I'm really liking it a lot.
Great! Like to tell us why?:-)
Sure, but after a day of running it, I don't have a lot to say. It looks great. The only thing I ever liked about gnome was the artwork. KDE has moved away from those cartoonish/playroom crayon-box colors. The theme installed is the nicest I've seen and looks the same for GTK apps. For being bigger, everything seems snappier, faster. Can't quantify it, but it certainly doesn't seem to be suffering from bloat. Fewer software crashes from the initial install. The menu editor worked right away! Other than that, it's just my initial enthusiasm. -- Jim Sabatke Hire Me!! - See my resume at http://my.execpc.com/~jsabatke Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.
