For the last month of so, when I leave X (say by going to init 3 for kernel upgrades & nvidia driver fixes) my display goes haywire. I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL shutdown and restart. An image of the screen in this state can be found here http://www.thesizemores.net/images/imageSmall.jpg I'm running the latest 2.6.8 kernel and have am using an nVidia GeForce4 MX 440 card with a iiyama Vision Master 450 19" CRT display. What are some things to check in order to get my display 'back to normal' in these instances? Thanks. -- Cheers, Trey Pecor's Health-Food Principle: Never eat rutabaga on any day of the week that has a "y" in it.
