I repeat because my problem was not easy to explain:
I have problem to reconfigure my Epson printer C70 on one of my PC.
YAST2 asks for SuSE-8.2 CD1.
But YAST2 does not find CD1.
I have 2 drives: CD/DVD-RW on /dev/sr0 (ex /dev/hdc) and CD-Writer on /dev/sr1
(ex /dev/hdd).
On console I can mount a CD-Rom in the CD/DVD-RW (/dev/sr0) with 'mount
/media/dvd' or in the CD-Writer (/dev/sr1) with 'mount /media/recorder'.
But YAST2 does not find CD1 in /dev/sr0 or /dev/sr1.
Questionn thus: how to tell YAST2 where the SuSE-8.2 CD1 is? I can't either install new packages with the SuSE-!.2 install CD's.
Hoping it is clear.
Thanks

Hello,
I connected my Epson c70 on another PC - first YAST2 configuration OK I manage to print with OpenOffice - I tried in YAST2 to change somme configuration then suddenly YAST2 asks to insert CD1 (SuSE-8.2).
But Yast2 doesn't detect CD in /dev/hdc (/dev/sr0 in fact). Impossible to read SuSE-8.2 CD1.
I have on /dev/hdc a CD/DVD-RW and a CD-Writer on /dev/hdd all well detected except that I can't mount a CD on /dev/hdc with mount /cdrom though I have /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom .... in /etc/fstab
Problem CD/DVD-RW is recognised as /dev/sr0 (it is a burner).
In /etc/fstab /dev/dvd is not configured but if I do 'mount /media/dvd' with a DVD or a CD no problem I can read both.
Difficult to understand. Sorry if it is not clear. Question is though simple. How to tell Yast2 that SuSE-8.2 CD1 is in /dev/sr0 (how to configure installation support?)?
