Hi List,
how would I be able to change the password of kdewallet? There doesn't seem to be an obvious place when trying to configure konqueror and the SuSE help system didn't give any clues either.
Thanks for any pointers, Alex.
Klick on the KDE Wallet Manager icon in the systray t get the wallets on this computer. Rightclick on the desired wallet ; chhose Change password.
Dear Rikard, thanks for the pointer. At first I didn't find the systray for the kde wallet, but later was able to search for it in the ctrl center. I apparently had it set to close the tray icon after use. Anyway, this didn't solve the problem as I don't remember the password for the wallet and wanted to reset it. I suppose I have to do that as root by finding the file where the password hash is stored and either delete that or set to zero? Where would kde store the password file? I am running a stock SuSE 9.1 64bit set-up on an AMD. Any other suggestions? TIA, Alex.
