Many thanks for your answer...
I understand now how the removable devices are managed (à la Windows).
It is probably not related, but I still don't understand why when I start k3b.
it say that it is the first time that I'm using it on the current machine (ok
it is the truth) and why it crash without any error message when I try to set
a "burning speed" different of 0 (which is not really useful). It even crash
when I try to use the proposed speed of 0..
A "screen copy" of the error message on the console I've used to start k3b :
claude@euler:~> k3b
claude@euler:~> QMetaObject::findSignal:KFileDetailView: Conflict with
QListView::doubleClicked(QListViewItem*,const QPoint&,int)
k3b: WARNING: KGenericFactory: instance requested but no instance name passed
to the constructor!
KCrash: Application 'k3b' crashing...
