No info on your hardware setup.  Based on what you said above, you must 
have a dvd rom and a dvd recorder.  Then you would put the movie in the 
dvd rom, blank in dvd recorder, then run your program.  Assuming that is 
a correct understanding of what you have, you can burn a dvd copy with 
k3b in Linux.
