Thanks Per, but I don't see anything wrong in /var/log/messages : the module seems to load without problem and the scanner is the right one : Sep 24 18:48:15 linux kernel: aha152x: unsupported module, tainting kernel. I tried to force the loading of the aha152x driver but I get a "failed" message when I start the system and Yast tells me that there is no scsi scanner.
Try loading the aha152x module (modprobe aha152x), then check your /var/log messages for output. It sounds like the module isn't finding your SCSI card, which could be because it doesn't know its IO-addr and intr#. You may have to specify IO-addr and intr# to load the module and have your card properly recognised.
