You can use yast to start the mysql server. In graphics mode
yast has a gui. I can't see how any other gui would help
you to do so. I don't think any gui will ease the steep
learning curve. In the end you'll have to type commands
anyway so you may as well do that in text mode. I think the
clicks of a gui would only get in the way. Just my 0.021
