SuSE 9.0 Pro install. OK, it started innocently enough. I wanted to get an add-in for gimp2 to compile. The libraries were screwed up. So I downloaded, compiled and installed glib 2.4.5. Then GTK apps started complaining: (Gecko:31584): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "qtpixmap", Most apps seem to run, but have a funky theme that's annoying me. But more important, what did I screw up? In trying to fix this, I also compiled and installed: librsvg 2.5.0 atk 1.6.1 gimp 2.0.3 gimp-print 4.2.7 gnome-themes 2.6.1 (rpm from usr-bin-org) gtk 2.4.4 pango 1.4.0 QtPixmap 0.28 Geramik 0.26 gimp-devel-2.02 (rpm from usr-bin-org) gtk2-engines 2.2.0 (rpm from usr-bin-org) gimp 2.0.3 and I can't compile: gimp 1.3.2 I see this message on google, but most are queries that were never answered, and the ones that were are not helpful.
