Hi, Following hardware problems, I recently replaced by motherboard and CPU. All the other modular hardware (SCSI adaptor, video card, RAM, DVD, DVD recorder, diskette drive, sound card) are the same as before, but naturally all the motherboard-resident hardware is new. Upon the first boot on the new hardware, SuSEPlugger put me through the paces of configuring the new hardware. In looking at the output of "hwinfo", I'm seeing entries in the "Manually Configured" section that pertain to the old motherboard. Is there a good way to rid my system of these left-overs? So far the only thing I've done along these lines is to remove the Ethernet configuration for the adaptor from the old motherboard (using the YaST network configuration tool). Thanks. Randall Schulz
