We're running spamassassin at our office. When false positives come in my coworkers send me an email of the person/company for me to add to our whitelist. I'm getting tired of putting it on for everyone. Does anyone know of a way I can create a html form so that users in the office can enter and email address and have it added to .spamassassin/user_prefs so I don't have to do it? A step-by-step would be nice.
If you're using per-user config files, you might look into the SQL-based config setup. I've got user preferences stored in a MySQL backend, and it works pretty nicely. From there, I'm using a SquirrelMail plugin that lets users change several of their options. Granted, that's probably 2 or 3 systems that may not be options for you, but if they are, the combination works well. :) --Danny
