PS if you are on a dialup 56k link then this method could be rather long winded to say the least .
once you have the archive down the normal rpm -vUh *rpm from the right places shouls give you a fully working KDE 3.3 install well it has here ..
Or use apt to help in finding the packages to updated including dependencies. You can use apt in download mode only. You can than decide to install the packages manually or with apt later on. It will prevent you to download much to much. If everybody would do it this way, noone will be able to reach the servers anymore...
