modprobe as regular user

XYZ> modprobe
bash: modprobe: command not found


Try modprobe as root :-)

# modprobe
Usage: modprobe [-v] [-V] [-C config-file] [-n] [-i] [-q] [-o <modname>]
<modname> [parameters...]
modprobe -r [-n] [-i] [-v] <modulename> ...
modprobe -l -t <dirname> [ -a <modulename> ...]
