I have tried to install 9.1 on one of my computers.
When the first CD has finished, and the system rebooted, I got the following message:
/GRUB Version 0.94 (640K lower/359360K upper memory)/
/[Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists/
/possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists the possible/
/completions of a device/filename.]/
/ /
After I searched on Google, but the hints here did not help me.
At first I couldn't find anything using find /boot/grub/stage1
I rebooted again with the DVD, and choosed to do a rescue.
Here I could see, that the /boot/grub directory was empty.
That was the reason for ntohing to be found.
Then I booted the installed system, and now I could see, that the /grub directory was ok.
I booted now, and this time I let the harddrive boot.
Again I received the above message, and I still could not get anything with the find command.
What can be wrong here ?.
