Hello List.
I have recently installed Opengroupware on my box and the damn thing
crashed last night (don't ask me how) and now postgresql/postmaster
won't start up. I have a feeling there is a duplicate running in a tmp
directory somewhere but being relatively new I'm not sure what I
should be looking for. Here's the section from the boot.msg
*****************************
Starting PostgreSQL/usr/bin/pg_ctl: line 417: 978 Killed
"$po_path" ${1+"$@"} ${PGDATAOPTS+$PGDATAOPTS} </dev/null
>>$logfile 2>&1
pg_ctl: postmaster does not start
failed
*****************************
could anyone shed some light on this perhaps?
many thanks.
