No error, looks good. The error seems to occur later, after logging in.

I'm trying to figure out if the error is caused by something related to your
own user account (home dir, perhaps ownership). If the error does not occur
with the new user, but does occur when you login as pat, then something in
your home dir must cause the error?
I'm now going to try the new drivers myself. Maybe I get the same problem as
you. ;)
