Hi:
A few weeks ago I installed a 9.1 system, and let YOU do its thing. Included in the list of YOU updates was a patch for hotplug, which I installed.
Before the patch, I had hotplug-0.44-32 . After the patch I had hotplug-0.44-32.5 .
Also, after the patch the hotplug system was an even bigger mess than before, failing to unmount USB removable flash drives after unplugging them. Plugging in again resulted in multiple mounts.
I was hoping to reproduce the problem to report it to Suse (I have since trashed that installation I think from OCing my CPU too much), but now I don't find the hotplug update from YOU on any of the servers.
What happened to the hotplug update?
Thanks.
Update: I just discovered that in /var/lib/YaST2/you/mnt/i386/update/9.1/patches there is a file hotplug-51465 that indicates the existence of an update to hotplug just like the one I described, but I can no longer actually find it on the servers. Ah-ha! Ok I found it, you have to Show Patch Category "All patches" then it isn't listed in an obvious manner, instead it's the one: "fix scanning of input devices and other fixes" Good day! -- ____________________________________ Christopher R.
