-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hey all. I have a 20g ide harddrive that I have in an enclosure that converts it to a USB 2.0 drive. When I plug it in nothing happens, other then the lights change, but I can't find a way toaccess it. I created the drive /media/usbdrive and then in fstab I added the line: /dev/sda1 /media/usbdrive auto noauto, user,rw 0 0 that I found in an answer in one of the newsgroups. But when I try to access the it I get "mount: /dev/sda1 is not a valid block device" and do not access the drive.. fdisk -l doesn't show it either. Google didn't have a lot on that was helpfull. I need to get this drive up so I can back part of the other drives so I can instal 9.1..
