I am having a problem with DHCP keeping the wrong name. I have changed the HOSTNAMe in YAST2-->Network Card, however, it keeps giving me another hostname. Is there anyway to chnage this manually by issuing dhcpcd directly? I have tried also clearing the cache by dhcpcd -k. Also, my router says that it is using the correct hostname. Any suggestions? TIA!
In the hostname setup, did you uncheck the "Change hostname via DHCP" checkbox?
