All, I may need to setup a test/demo system using a Emulex HBA connected to a EMC Clarion. I did _not_ find Emulex supported at on the hardware compatibility list. (there is a GPL module that Emulex is actively trying to get into the vanilla 2.6 kernel.) I did find the Emulex modules included with both SUSE 9.0 Pro (2.4 kernel) and SUSE 9.1 Pro (2.6 kernel). Does anyone have any comments about the quality of either. Do they even work? Are there particular models of HBA that work better than others? For a demo, would I be better off getting the latest 2.6 vanilla kernel and getting the Emulex module straight from sourceforge (or wherever they maintain it)? Greg -- Greg Freemyer
