Actually wmlist is a script. If you add an entry to the WMs= section, it 
should be the name of the binary for the windowmanager. The script does 
a "type -p" later in the script to confirm that it does exist. If it 
doesn't, it won't show up in wmlist. Of course all of this is moot since 
as Anders pointed out, that's for startx and not KDM. Sorry for 
misunderstanding your question. ;)
