Bad keyboard map in Xvnc for Swedish and Norwegian keyboards. A detailed description of the bug can be found here:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=995516&group_id=14067&atid=114067

Here is the workaround:

It is the Xvnc file (server) in SuSE 9.1 (XFree86-Xvnc-
4.3.99.902-40.i586.rpm) that is missing support for Swedish
and Norwegian 105 key (and others?) keyboard layouts. Using
the older XFree86-Xvnc-4.3.0.1-29.i586.rpm from SuSE 9.0
works except for the dead keys, which is good enough if you
are Swedish and just want vnc for remote administration.

The old file can be downloaded at
ftp://ftp.sunet.se/pub/Linux/distributions/suse/suse/i386/9.0/s
use/i586/

It is possible to rename the old file to Xvnc1 and add an
option to log in via another port to this server as an
alternative, just to make sure you will still be able to log
in, should this not work for you. This is done in /etc/xinted.d/vnc

Hope this will help somebody out there.

Cheers

/Niclas
