Hi !
Is this the virtual address setup in YaST is broken, or I am doing
something wrong ?
YaST/Network Devices/Network Card/Change/Edit/Advanced/Virtual
Aliases
Alias Name=1
IP Address=102.168.1.10
Netmask=255.255.255.0
ifconfig -a does not show the new virtual interface.
How can I add a virtual (second) address to my NIC ?
My system is a SuSE 9.1, a 3COM Tornado card with the primary
address set by a DHCP server.
I have no problem adding the second address manually, I mean:
ifconfig eth0:1 inet 192.168.1.10 netmask 255.255.255.0 up
regards,
