Nope, cameras are fine. I have used dcraw and didn't like it---was not 
pleased with the output. I much prefer to use BreezeBrowser to process 
raw files. Gives lots of options I like to use, including linear 
conversion, manually setting color temp, noise reduction, exposure 
compensation, etc.
