Sensors, GKrellM and KSysGuard

I usually use GKrellM to monitor my system, but have been looking at KSysGuard
since moving to SUSE 9.1 because it has the ability to run as a panel applet.
However, I have a problem with sensors. These work with no problem in GKrellM
- my CPU and case temps (which is what I want to know) are displayed with no
problems. By contrast, KSysGuard lists the sensors as available but they
always return zero values when I add them to a worksheet.
Anyone have any ideas why they might work for GKrellM and not KSG?
