Gimp will not start after update

I updated through the apt program Gimp. After the update and running SuSEconfig, Gimp will no longer start. On the command line, it gives this error, "gimp: error while loading shared libraries: gimp: undefined symbol: gdk_threads_lock". Does anyone know how to fix this? The version of Gimp that I updated to is the stable release from usr-local-bin.org. The one that I installed is version gimp-2.0.1-100.SuSE.ulb.1. Thanks! Marshall
