Thanks for the news! By the way, the open source vpnc client works too, and it is even nicer than the cisco one (although u must know the un encrypted group paswd.) I should add that if u want to use vpnc, make sure u get the latest version and compile it, then replace the binarries with the buggy ones supplied with suse 9.1. vpn can be found here: http://infoweb.ntnu.no/oppringt/vpn/vpnc_linux.html and here: http://www.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/~massar/vpnc/ I will try cisco tonight nevertheless... Hi
Anyone has the Cisco VPN Client working on 9.1?
I've tried this version vpnclient-linux-4.0.4.A-k9.tar.gz which is supposed to work with kernels 2.6.2+ but it faisl to compile...
I have installed 4.0.4.B-k9 on SuSE 9.1 without problems, Cisco even advertise this version as being compatible with SuSE 9.1
I'm speechless! Do you have a link where you downloaded it? (just to make sure I try the same one).
Thanks.
