Hi Ronald,

I cannot get Bluetooth to work!!

I followed the description of http://www.hilzinger.hu/ch/bluetooth.html
(second package, since I still use KDE 3.1 as in SuSE 9.0)

I installed the package via YAST, which also asked for the CD 4.

Using the tools:
Once installed, launch bluetooth as root:

rcbluetooth start

NOT FOUND !!!

Then start the KDE bluetooth demon (as normal user):

/opt/kde3/bin/kbluetoothd

Probably you will also have to edit the /etc/bluetooth/hcid.conf file, where

I don't have such directory either!

Just to be sure which files are included in that bluetooth package, type:

rpm -ql bluetooth-package

where 'bluetooth-package' (w/o quotes) must be replaced with the real package name.
Maybe those missing files are installed elsewhere... :)

HTH,
Martin
