( I'd expect this to be covered in a SuSE Mail-list FAQ, but I can't find one (?). )
I'll be away from email for about a week, and within 2-3 days the traffic from this list will fill my mailbox. I'd prefer to not lose whatever messages occur during that week, as I would if I simply unsubscribe and then resubscribe when I return. Is there any way to suspend the mailings, and then re-enable them when I return, and have the traffic from the intervening time effectively queue up, so I receive it upon my return? I kind of doubt this is possible, but thought I'd give it a shot.
You wont lose any by unsubscribing. Just look in the header for the last X-Message-Number-for-archive: number you've gotten and then use the get feature described when sending mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com to retrieve the mails you've missed. -- Mads Martin Joergensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogical, with just a little bit more effort?" -- A.
