Hi,

I have a problem with the Greek fonts. I have install the following dirs:

/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/hellas/misc      57 fonts
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/hellas/75dpi	106 fonts
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/hellas/Type1	28 fonts
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/hellas/100dpi	50 fonts
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/latin7/75dpi	43 fonts

The fonts are from the xfntgreek-1.0-546.noarch.rpm package.

When i run fc-cache -fv i get the following :

fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/hellas": caching, 0 fonts, 4 dirs
fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/hellas/misc": caching, 0 fonts, 0 dirs
fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/hellas/75dpi": caching, 0 fonts, 0 dirs
fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/hellas/Type1": caching, 19 fonts, 0 dirs
fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/hellas/100dpi": caching, 0 fonts, 0 dirs
fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/latin7": caching, 0 fonts, 1 dirs
fc-cache: "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/latin7/75dpi": caching, 0 fonts, 0 dirs
.....

As you can see fc-cache see only the Type1 fonts. And as a result I don't 
have some fonts eg: Greek Helvetica or Helveticagr.

Can anyone help me with this problem?


I run KDE 3.2.2 with all updates from SuSE
