i've got questions about configuring my wifi card under SuSe 9.1.
I'm using ndiswrapper with bcmwl5 driver on a dell truembile 1300.
The only way if found to get it working is to issue ::
#> iwconfig wlan0 mode managed key open 0000000000 essid mysessid
Other configurations with iwconfig didn't worked.
With yast network peripherals/network cards, i can't set the "key open
0000000000" parameter, because the key encryption field accept only
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX or XXXXXXXX format.
I tried to set up my wlan0 card using sysconfig editor at
path /hardware/wireless/.

which worked fine :)
I installed ifplugd to auto bring up interfaces. When i boot with
eth0 unplugged my routing table is :

10.0.0.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 wlan0
link-local * 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 wlan0
loopback * 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo

( traffice goes througt wlan0 )
If i plug my eth0 cable it become :

10.0.0.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 wlan0

link-local * 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 wlan0

default 10.0.0.254 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 wlan0
( can ping 10.0.0.*, can't acces internet )
so if remove manually default gw for eth0 i can access internet via wlan0
and if remove manually default gw for wlan0 i can acces inernet via eth0.
Note : my router can't use different networks for eth and wifi.
I'd like to have this behaviour :
if ( eth0 plugged and wlan0 plugged on the same network )
use eth0
if ( eth0 plugged and wlan0 plugged on different network )
use eth0 and wlan0 to acces each network
if ( only one interface plugged )
use which is plugged
I there a way to do that ?
