This motherboard has an onboard 1gig nic ( marvel 88E8001). also have an intel 1gig nic in there machine. It sees the intel from the other install in the old machine an see two nics. one being the intel an the other asustek ethernet is what it says it is. i do not have a cable on the onboard nic yet an it is getting an ip address. I think its assigning 2 ip's to one nic but not sure. With no cable plugged into the other nic it has to be doing that. Anyone run into this problem yet. The motherboard is the asus K8V. Anyone else have this mb running with suse yet.
