Dear all users,
this is my first message in the mailing list, and I would like to introduce
myself ... with a nice (!!!) problem I have encountered installing Linux SUSE
9.0 professional on my notebook SONY VAIO PCG-GRT816S. After installation of
every package and hardware setting, I have rebooted the system, and
unfortunately, even if everything about overall setting was fine, the desktop
size of KDE was about 2/3 of the monitor size. I have checked every detail
about monitor and video card on YAST/Saxa2, but I have found no hints, and
everything was fine about video card (Nvidia GeForce Fx Go 5600), monitor
refresh frequencies, etc etc ...... Do you have any suggestion about this
problem ? Do yu hink it is a problem of YAST configuration or do I have to
make a more hard core set up of XFree system ???
Thanx a lot
