We had a problem on one of our servers with Amavis not working correctly (running SuSE Pro 9.0). Since we were using amavisd in conjunction wth postfix, this resulted in several hundred outbound emails being stuck for deferred delivery. That's all fixed now, and the emails have been sent, so now it's time for final cleanup... Specifically, there are more than 25,000 directories named "amavis-XX*" in the /var/spool/amavis directory. What is the right way to either get rid of these manually, or, ideally, to get amavisd to clean up its own leftover mess. Thanks!
