Yes - I'd checked both those before posting :-)
I was more wondering about the level of firewire/ieee1394 support in SuSE
distributions specifically, and in the ease of configuration (via YaST?).
Also, I know that kino supports video import via 1394 - has anyone had
experience of doing this with kino or anything else (dvgrab, MainActor...)?
