I was wondering what the new features in 9.1 are ? we've probably all read about the 9.1 release ! but nowhere did i see anything about new Yast OAM (operations, administration and maintenance) features of 9.1 professional.
So do anyone know what the new features (if any are). Is this just a software upgrade release ? or what ?
What about stuff like - Bluetooth (mouse / keyboards ...) - More granular personal firewall ? - Samba sharing by clicking on folder and choose share ? Or something along those lines ? - FTP Server configuration ? - Better DHCP server configuration like adding special options ? and several scopes ? - Xinerama configuration - Combined Fonts configuration for managing Fonts within both KDE/QT and Gnome/GTK - Utility to manage to roll-out of additional PC's with same configuration (i'm used to kickstart so there might be something which i'm just not accustomed to yet ..).
With respect to your last remark: this functionality is already there. It's called AutoYast and is very, very powerfull. Take a look at http://www.suse.de/~nashif/autoinstall/ Regards Harry
