During selection of software to install, choose 'detailed package selection' (eg individual package selection). Go to the search tab (and search for glibc). In the lower right hand corner is the description/details/etc... "box". Somewhere in there you should see checkboxes to install the i586, i686 and/or source. Just uncheck i686 and choose i586. --Jerry --
