Gnome Oddities...

Running ULB Gnome on 9.0 Pro...
::First Oddity::
I have two partitions that I mount as /home and /data (in addition to /
and /swap).
When I reboot the machine, I get four icons on the Gnome desktop: /home,
/home(2), /data, and /data (2). To get rid of the *(2) icons, I must
logoff (being sure to select the "Save current setup" tickbox) and then
login again.
::Second Oddity::
After logging in, pressing the logout button on the top panel does
nothing. I find I must first open a Nautilus window, and then the logout
button functions just fine. If I press the logout button multiple times
before launching a Nautilus window, after launching a Nautilus window I
get multiple logout dialog boxes.
These are not show stoppers, but they are annoying. Any ideas where I
should be looking to fix this?
Thanks!
Mark
P.S. If James had said he was going to head up XD2 for Ximian, I might
have believed it! ;-)
Happy April 1st!
