Just had to assist with eliminating the Linux partition from a HDD destined for a Win98SE-only install. Most common versions of M$ fdisk seem unable to get the job done so we booted from my SuSE 9 Pro CD 1 and ran Install. We walked through to Partitioning and wiped the partition table -- then powered down the computer with the Install app open (since the indication was that doing so was irreversible unlike other partition changes). When we booted from the Win98SE boot floppy the Linux partition was gone M$ was able to load Win98SE cleanly. Anyone seen this "undocumented feature" before? We didn't observe any bad side effects. -- Thanks! & 73, doc kd4e West Central Florida Op. Atlas, Drake, Hallicrafters, TenTec ... p.s.
