increase your log level
log level = 9
Higher debug levels produce more detailed information. Usually you won't
need any more than level 3; this is more than adequate for most Samba
administrators. Levels above 3 are for use by the developers and dump
enormous amounts of cryptic information.

Subject: [SLE] samba log
Hi,
I can't figure out how to generate this type of log.. I think it is not
possible.
I have a samba shared folder that people can access via Win2k and etc..
with unique samba user login. Is there a log that can keep track of whatc
each person is doing to the shared folder like delete or create file.
I know there is a way to keep a log by network id, but the log doesn't
tell me much (using %m.log)
thanks
henry
