Hi list,
on the laptop I have at work (right now) running SuSE 9.0 Pro, I use a PS/2 mouse because it's better for me... Yesterday I was using the laptop during my way back home in the train and started to use the built-in mouse touchpad. I had to run sax2 for the system to configure the touchpad correctly, otherwise I had a loose pointer... Now, back in the office, I can't use the PS/2 mouse-wheel anymore... I started sax2 and activated the mouse-wheel twice but no way...
Any thoughts?
Edit /etc/X11/XF86Config, section "InputDevice" for Driver "mouse" and make sure you have Option "ButtonNumber" "5" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" in it. Also check if you have multiple sections for Driver "mouse" and if so, which one is selected in section "ServerLayout"
