Red Buttons also played an interesting part in the movie "The Longest
Day", which had a hugh number of top stars from the US, UK, and
Germany. But that is getting a bit OT.
To get YaST2 to run when you are logged in as yourself, you should use
sux. That will setup the X environment to allow root to use
display :0.0. Or you can run YaST2 from the menu system
System->Configuration->YaST and it will use kdesu. Or you can run
YaST2 as "kdesu yast2". Using YaST, hopefully you can configure your
sound card.
